Mândra Lake, Parâng Mountains

Mândra Lake is the largest glacial lake, situated at the highest altitude in Parang Mountains 2,148 meters. We can get to Mândra following two classical routes departing from “Bujor de Munte” pension, on the ridge (Peaks: Cârja, Stoieniţa, Gemanar, Parângul Mare ) then Gruiului saddle, or departing from “Groapa Seacă” pass, then  “Refugiul Agatat” and the lakes: Zănoaga Stânei, Roşiile and Mândra.
