The National Centre for Information and Tourist Promotion in Petrosani Municipality (NCITP), financed through ROP, Priority axis 5, Major field of intervention 5.3, “Operation: creating National Centers for Information and Tourist Promotion (CNIPT) and equipping them,” is situated on Mihai Viteazu Street, next to the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Petroșani Courthouse, close to the National Road 66.

Through its staff this Center will offer:

• General information on the tourist offer and tourist attractions at local, regional or national level;

• Local, regional or national promotional materials;

• Information on local accommodation offer;

• Advice on choosing various local, regional and national tourism products;

• Information about the possibilities of booking tickets for transport and about local or national specialized tour guides;

• Information about the competent authorities in resolving locally registered complaints on the quality of the tourism services.
